Localize your listing without inventing demand

Separate market language, public evidence and actual app support.

Define one market and a real user task

Choose the platform and storefront before researching terms. Describe what the app helps a person do. Ask a fluent reviewer to check whether the proposed terminology matches that task in the target market.

Label signals honestly

Public listing language and reviews can suggest phrasing, but they do not establish exact search volume. Keep observed terms and inferred opportunities separate. Do not assume that keywords index across locales without suitable evidence.

Check the in-app journey

A localized listing does not localize the app. Verify actual screens, onboarding, prices and language settings. Use genuine captures from the relevant journey and hold publication when that evidence is missing.
