Capture a running app
Use a device, emulator or simulator running the actual app. Choose relevant journeys and the correct locale. Keep the originals and record the source; a mockup or AI-generated screen is not an app capture.
Separate the UI from the decoration
Place genuine captures into a deterministic layout. Keep AI artwork outside app UI regions and render readable captions with fonts. Do not invent buttons, results or paywalls. Compare decoded original pixels against final cropped UI regions and reject differences.
Review the exported result
Inspect legibility, clipping, occlusion and unsupported claims at the intended store size. Preserve provider provenance and available metadata. A beautiful background does not compensate for an inaccurate app representation.
